Terms of Service
Last updated: July 21, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Dossio desktop application and website (together, the “Service”), provided by Dossio (“Dossio,” “we,” “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. The Service
Dossio connects to your email and builds a CRM — contacts, activity timelines, and related records — using an AI model that runs on your own device. Features may change over time as we improve the product.
2. Your account and connected mailboxes
You're responsible for the accounts you connect to Dossio and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must have the right to access any mailbox you connect, and you agree to use the Service in compliance with the terms of your email and calendar providers (including Google and Microsoft).
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to violate any law or the rights of others.
- Send spam, bulk unsolicited mail, or other abusive messages through the Service.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Connect mailboxes you are not authorized to access.
4. Your data
You retain all rights to your content — your email, contacts, and the records Dossio builds from them. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. How your email content is processed and what we store is set out there.
5. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers such as Google and Microsoft for email, calendar, and contacts. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we're not responsible for their availability or actions.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Dossio and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Dossio uses AI to generate summaries and suggestions, which may be inaccurate or incomplete; you should not rely on them as the sole basis for important decisions.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dossio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the Service.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by disconnecting your accounts and uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, the license granted to you ends.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
